There are many reasons to consider a move to Seattle. First, Seattle has a booming job market in several industries. Second, summers in Seattle are some of the best weather you'll find in the U.S. (when the sun's out that is). The temperatures tend to not be too hot for the most part and the maritime atmosphere feels great. The trees are green, the grass is green, and the water is blue. Seattle is the place where a walk in the woods is an enjoyable experience, as well as taking in the lush growth of plants that dots the forest floor.
There are two mountain ranges to explore, if you are into hiking or mountain biking. They are the Cascade Mountains to the east of Seattle and the Olympic Mountains to the west, across the Puget Sound. Getting to the Olympics is a treat in itself as it likely means you'll take one of the state ferries, which carry dozens of vehicles and hundreds of people at a time across the water. You drive your car on and park it, then walk upstairs to the view deck to take in the sights of the Puget Sound.
